by M.Colombo Subject Once upon a time there was a creature half angel, half butterfly... A hevenly feminine creature half angel, half butterfly. A feminine creature, sweet, nice, fragile and pure but at the same time strong and powerful. The butterfly - angel woman wants to get free from the catterpillar in which she is trapped to fly away and to be free. Progect: The project is composed by different parts: 1) a sculpture - dress composesd by a ivory organza top with silver pearls embroidery, a skirt made by ivory japanese paper with embroidery of silver pearls and pink nylon-silk, a pair of pink laces gloves with silver pearls embroidery, shoes-tights made by japanese paper color: light pink , pink fragile leaves and light pink organza ribbons. Wings made by white japanese paper and by steel. The dress is entirely handmade. 2) All the photos are printed on A4 japanese hand made paper and are stiched by hand with pink pale pearls. 3) a music video inspired by the dress. minutes 2'55". Soundtrack:"Run"Talkie Walkie by Air. Screenplay in Italian <Butterflies_tecnico.htm> 4) catwalk performance : the model is wrapped by a catterpillar made by paper and silver pearls.
